A Bible-believing & Bible-teaching church!
Statement of Faith
- We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Scriptures, both the Old Testament and the New Testament, inerrant in their original writings, and that they are the supreme authority for all believers in faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Peter 1:19-21; Psalm 119:105).
- We believe in one God eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 1:14; 1 John 5:7).
- We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. We believe that He was born of the Virgin Mary by the Holy Spirit and lived a sinless life (John 1:1; Phil. 2:5-8; Heb. 4:15). We believe that Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are justified solely on the ground of His shed blood (Rom. 5:8, 10; 2 Cor. 5:31; 1 Pet. 3:18; Heb. 9:22).
- We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of Jesus, in His ascension into heaven, and in His personal ministry there for us as High Priest and Advocate (Matt. 28:5-7; Acts 1:9; 1 Cor. 15:3-8; Eph. 1:20-22; 1 Pet. 1:3; Heb. 7:24-25, 9:24).
- We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred both physical and spiritual death, which is separation from God, and in need of salvation (Gen. 2 & 3; Rom. 3:23).
- We believe in the future physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth (Matt. 28:6; Mark 16:6; John 20:1, 2; Acts 1:11; Phil. 3:20; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 22:20).
- We believe in the existence and work of Satan (Gen. 3:1; Matt. 13:39; 1 Pet. 5:8).
- We believe in the eternal salvation of regenerate man and eternal judgment of unregenerate man (Luke 16:26; John 5:24; John 6:40; Rom. 8:38,39; Rev. 20:10).
- We believe in the Person and work of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Holy Spirit baptizes each believer at the moment of conversion and indwells him continually thereafter. We believe that the Holy Spirit enables each believer for Christian ministry by giving each believer unique spiritual gift/s. We believe that the evidence and power of the Holy Spirit is the fruit of the Spirit in the believer’s life demonstrated by living a life which pleases God (John 3:6; James 1:18; 1 Pet. 1:23; Rom. 8:9).
- We believe that all who put their trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior are children of God, and, as such, should do all within their power, with the help of the Holy Spirit, to live lives which are pleasing to God (John 3:6; Gal. 5:19-26; Eph. 4:11-16; Titus 3:5; Jam. 4:4).
- We believe in God’s mandate to take the Gospel to the entire world. We therefore have an extensive missionary program, supporting qualified missionaries at home and abroad (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8).
